Fall has fallen folks. Get out your long sleeves cause it’s time to jump in the leaves! The Hoodoo boys hope y’all are doing good. We’ve been hitting the road for last few months.

If you follow us on Facebook (!/aaronwilliamsandthehoodoomusic), you might have seen Aaron’s pictures from his hike in CO. Z visited family and friends in northern WI, and me, Shack, did what any average, normal man wants to do in his time off. I visited an estate sale, went sight seeing in Portage, WI, and hit the spa. What were you expecting?

We all needed a little R&R, after all, we play hard, we work hard, we party hard. Just ask the fans at the Bryon Blues Fest. It was a great time! Unfortunately, the drummer always gets hit first, and the bug got me at that show. Luckily the fans were nice enough to come visit me in the back of the van and wish me well. The Hoodoo have the best fans!

We had another great time at the Paramount Blues Festival. We were bummed about the rain, but if you were brave enough to last, you know what a time we had under the tent. Albert Cummings band stopped by to jam with us, Karl on guitar and vocals (he plays bass with Albert), and Conner on drums. Albert hung around afterwards and partied with the Hoodoo boys. If you see Albert, ask him about the “Hoodoo freight train”.

We had a great time supporting Shemekia Copeland at the High Noon in Madison in early October. It was great to see so many Hoodoo fans coming out on a Wednesday night. We hope you had as much as we did!

We just got back from a long swing down South to Atlanta, look for the next blog update with some juicy details on our trip. See y’all soon!

Aaron, Shack, and Z
